Ooh thats well timed as its bathroom day.

So far I've pushed what water I can out of the toilet bowl and poured vinegar down...awful limescale.

Strapped two halves of lemons --organic :D-- onto the ends of the taps to get rid of the cloggy limescale there.

Wodged a load of kitchen roll soaked in vineger under the rim of the toilet bowl.

Think I'll get a new toilet seat today as ours is pretty horrible.

I think I'll also get some of this for the mould and mildew round the bath...its horrible.

Right off to hand washing out and put another load in.

    Catch you all later. x

  • in my hhc I hung out 1st washload
    did washing up
breakfast and cup of tea for DD1
discussed DD2's future with DD1 - dd2 is in yr 11 and doesn't know what she wants to do - i don't think A levels would be a good idea - no motivation....however DD1 - very clever but hampered by ME is trying to tell DD2 to go in the 6th form!

you will probably hear the explosions from here when the debate resumes...

Pinch and a Punch for the first of the month

As it is now October I will be spending sometime (could just be 5 minutes, could be 5 hours) everyday in the Room of Doom - the last room to be tackled in the house. I want it done by Halloweeen.

  • OK - bathroom isn't too bad, so my aim is to get today's list cleared in 2xHHC, starting at 10:45.

Then I'm going out in the garden, 'cos it's still a nice day here (for the moment...). Just time to go to the loo, finish my cuppa, then off I go...
