I am now sufficiently instructed on safety in the lab so can be let loose with a petri dish lol..

I am in agony with massive stomach cramps today.. the children are on PC/console ban today and DS3 is on a ban tomorrow too.. and if they aren't dressed in the morning the rest will be banned tomorrow too.. we are working this on a day to day basis.. they aren't dressed in the morning no electronic babysitters in the evening.. makes my life difficult but not as difficult as being late every morning. :p

I'm sure I am supposed to be doing something now...

Oh.. Cracker has had his abcess lanced.. he yowled more in the car on the way to the vet than he did when she lanced him, in fact he didn't make a squeak until the syringed alcohol solution into the abcess to flush it out.. and even then he just wriggled a bit he was remarkably brave.. unlike the wailing and carrying on he did in the car! He now has a half inch cut in the middle of his back and a bunch of antibiotics!.. lucky him.

I am hoping to get through to docs tomorrow to get Tiddles an appointment with her finger, she is complaining all the time now about it hurting. I tried today but there were no appointments, the soonest one we could book was next week so I'll ring at 8am and see what I can get for the evening.

Thursday list.. I'll do it now...

New job seems to be going OK so far... met my boss's boss for breakfast, and then the other member of my team who is based in the same office was in today so I spent some time with him. I've got my laptop up and running, and think I've managed to log into all the systems I need.

They're not expecting me to really get going until after christmas, but I've got a detailed induction plan so I'm going to be busy! I need to get my work laptop out in a minute to see whether I can get it working form here or whether I need to ask for another broadband line to be installed.

I've just made soup from all the veg that won't last while I'm away and the remains of the chicken. I've tidied the inside freezer, so hopefully I'll manage to fit it in! I need to have a go at the outside freezer and see whether I can squeeze a few more bits in!

Have just had some soup and am hoping PenPen is going to send some of her pear frangipane down here for my pudding!

    Hi all!

Well, some good news for me! I was checking for the lump again this morning, something I usually do, though don't ask why I continued to put myself through the torture of feeling the blasted thing... anyway, it was gone!

    Thats fantastic news Zara

Our cats used to yowl like mad in the car and then go quiet at the vets. Poor cracker though.

Hope Tiddles is ok and that you get the appointment. It amazes me that you ring up and ask for an appt and they say they cant fit you in for days then when you tell them why you need one you get it within the hour

I have completely taken it easy today, finally felt ok around 4 o clock so will aim for work tomorrow and hope I still feel ok when I get up. DH is at work now so I will have fun trying to get the drops into my ear tonight, I just cant seem to do it right, too cack handed as my mother would say.

Not going to hang around late tonight as I still think I need more sleep .

Will go and chase DD to bed too, bet she hasnt made her sandwiches yet like I asked her too either.

    Catchya all later

    Hugs to all :D
