Cloth each and an allocated job each.. one to do the table, one to do the chair... quick race and bit cheers and clapping for the winner...
Squabbling.. ignore it unless there is blood. If they are silly enough to hurt each other you are not getting involved.. Unless of course it is potentially dangerous.. pushing down the stairs, dangling from 3rd floor windows, flushing head in the loo etc...
And they do appear to start getting slightly more civilised after about 2.5 ... and look on the bright side.. only a few more months until they can go to nursery
Cleaning with preschoolers is like peeing in the wind.. pointless.. and silly!
Thanks! I particularly like your last line!! I think I might start to ignore a little more of the squabbling if I can..... and persevere with the little jobs each to keep them occupied.
The plus side of doing this though is that the living room floor is clearer for them to do jigsaws etc as long as they agree to do a different one each! :rotfl:
It's the middle of next August before they can go to nursery, so I've been racking my brain for things to do with them this winter, the craft cupboard is stocked, just need to make some play dough type stuff, and get some poster paint stuff.
All their friends have gone to nursery this year, so much so there is only 2 other children at the toddler group now, so I can see that not running much longer, we spent 45 minutes on our own there this morning
They have both now conked out on the sofa so time to post here to thank everyone and now time to get on with things!
