freeview retune 30 September

Why do we have to manually retune our digital TV or freeview on 30 September when normally it is done automatically if the sets remain in standby?

Our TV doesn't retune automatically.

I don't know of any TV or Freeview Receiver that auto tunes in standby, I would be interested to know which make does that?0 -
