Weddings are lovely though huge moneypits.. Have you managed to do it in a debt-free way or are you pushing the boat out a bit? Hope you don't mind me asking but love weddings and all the planning..

Oh I don't mind, I'm so excited about it I can't stop talking about it!! Think the little old lady in Mr T's this avo may have thought I was a bit odd though :rotfl:!!
Its being a very DFW wedding, and if it wasn't for this site I'd never have been able to do things at all never mind just on a budget!! We're going to a small registry office so we're limited to 40 guests which makes life easier in the first place and then we're going to the pub at the top of our road for a pasty supper and everyone is paying for their own beer! We've gone from thinking about spending £4k down to about £500and I'm still getting real champagne (only coz I bought a case of Tesco's own for £20 in the sale )!!

Ah well,
I've well and truly fell off the wagon this week - £10 shopping on sunday and £8 lunch on tues!!!
Then I had to go out to get a birthday present last night so £15 for that and £6 for tea. (however I did get £38 back for some shoes that I had to return so that came out of that!)
So in effect, of my £20, I have £2 left, but really I have overspent by £20!!!
And I've got lunch out tomorrow (again for another leaving meal) and a wedding on sat night!!! I'm planning to take that out of the £18 left from the shoes which is still not good as that could have been used to pay off a debt, but oh well, back to it next week....
Good luck everyone elsePay off as much as you can in 2011: £780/£8000Vouchers through surveys/shopandscan: £10/£250Ebay/Paypal target for 2011: £109/£10000 -

Oh I am so disappointed as I have failed again this week. I definitely blew my budget last night - I wish I hadn't.
Once I had the demon drink inside of me, I threw my debt-busting ways out of the window and spent £35 for the whole night. As we were out late, ended up spending money on a cab back as well.
Better luck next week, I hope.One debt in 100 days £384/1264(£865 left)Pay all your debt off by xmas 2014 £276/18864NSD 4 and 4 in a row0 -

That is usually my downfall, budgetting goes out the window when I am out and havng a good time.
My lunch out was £12 so woohoo I am green for this week. That is the first time in ages. So total for the week is £47 which is under budget but really is atrocious considering that is nearly £50 and I do not really have anything to show for it.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30
