Ok so a a few weeks ago my desktop computer was constantly rebooting in a cycle without even getting to windows start up screen. My computer was quite old and was having a few problems which I am not bothered about fixing my old computer as I now have another machine my only concern is getting pictures off of my old hard…

Think you have 2 options...

1) get a data recovery program (I'd suggest GetDataBack I use it all the time on Windows systems.)

2) Ubuntu LiveCD with the application "TestDisk" it's a partition recovery program and can recover corrupted partitions.

Option 1 costs (but it's worth it!)

Option 2 is free but looks intimidating. (it's got a simple Command line interface no flashy Graphics! lol)
