Thanks guys.
I'm going for a 15-20 meter cable whci should be plenty long enough.
And it needs to be straight thru not twisted I understand!
Cheers allThe atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0 -

Yes, straight through for what you want.
You only need crossover if you want to connect two PC's directly, or 2 hubs/switches (although most are now auto-uplink so don't need it)0 -
I think you mean crossover - twisted refers to the type of cabling; the standard cable is UTP (unshielded twisted pair).quidsinquentin wrote: »Thanks guys.

I use homeplugs and theyre pretty good but they're not the cheapest option though but it would be tidier0

You can also get "Flat" Cat5 cables, which are better for running under carpets.0
