Possibly not, I think that most on here are far too savvy to waste over £25 on a litre of car cleaner that is no doubt 90% + water.

That will cause damage to your cars paint finish, no thanks.

How about you buy some and report back.;)
    Hence the question first!

  • Hi, I have been useing a product similar to this for over a year now and I would highly recommend it. I got a brand new car last July and have only had it handwashed once with water. However my Dad has a white coloured car and you cant see any difference when polished. My car is gold and there are no swirl marks on it at all. The product I use is called Spray and shine.
  • I use a German made product called "MER". You canbuy it in the UK. Wash car and in full sun or shade pass the MER product. Let dry, buff. done !

I've used MER very good in deed...............so the spray & shine needs no water to?

  • i once met a guy who bought some of this no water showroom shine stuff, he was amazed with it, i was curious and asked if he could show me how it worked, he said you dont even need to wash any of the dirt off first look, so i saw him spray this stuff all over the bonnet then rub it in with a cloth, it did give a nice shine, but he was rubbing all the dirt and grit that was on the paint into the paint work.

so i doubt it will do your paint any good in the long term.

Yes they seem to do that when showing on 'Ideal'

  • Joe you mentioned liking your pressure washer, not the best way to clean a car regularly to be honest, running water and either a finger over the end or a good spray attachment is plenty for the weekly wash.

The pressure washer is too fierce for regular normal washing IMO.
