Showroom Shine Spray?
Hi been watching Ideal shopping channel when they had a 'showroom shine spray' for sale
Looks good to say no water is required for cleaning your car & the price is competative compared with 'Ebay' Just wondered if anyone has this product & could recommend it.
Appreciate your views

That's what shopping channels are all about.0 -
I would never ever use any product like that on a dirty car.

to get a good shine on your car:
-rinse it down
-wash it with a quality mitt
-ideally use clay bar to get rid of contaminants
-use a polish
-use a sealant or a wax
It's good to learn the best way to clean your car as using poor products/methods can really do some harm (as I'm reminded of each time I look at my car close up, particularly when the sun's shining!) But, now I know how to look after the paintwork, I will be able to keep all future cars in good shape.) A good resource is a site called detailingworld.

Hi not a fan of 'ideal shopping' myself but just caught this on tv yesterday when flicking around, as much as I like my pressure washer it does take a good few hours to clean a car 'Properly' but does sound too good to be true. Just wondered if any one had used it ?joe2cool0

The best thing to use to get your car looking like new is elbow grease !Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Wonder if anyone using 'this forum' as used it?joe2cool0

My dad tried some of that stuff.
It looked all right to start with, but it did cause lots of swirl marks in the paintwork. Also the 'showroom shine' lasted for all of a couple of days. It then took him ages to get rid of the swirls.
He has gone back to conventional washing, polishing and waxing now.

Possibly not, I think that most on here are far too savvy to waste over £25 on a litre of car cleaner that is no doubt 90% + water.
That will cause damage to your cars paint finish, no thanks.
How about you buy some and report back.;)0
