    Thanks everyone for your kind words, I was really peed off to begin with but now I know there is something better our there for me.

    Im going to send my cv to some ocal estate agents, I didnt want to work at weekends but i may be able to make more money by doing so. Im also going to look for delivery work as I drive and have access to a car.

    Just a thought, how about ringing the restaurant and asking them outright if they intend offering you the job. If they don't (and I've gotta be honest but you'd be better off without working for them), tell them that for 3 hour hard work you think you should be recompensed, and have a share of the tips you earned, at least £20. If they refuse, tell them you will report them to Trading Standards (through your local council). TS will be very interested in your story and will investigate. It might put the wind up them and at least you'll make something from the experience.

    Please remember that no matter how broke you are, you must not allow people to exploit you. You deserve more and the more you value yourself, the higher others value you too.

    You will find the right thing for you, just keep looking.

    One extra comment regarding delivery work - ensure that you're covered by the car insurance, otherwise any accident, even if not your fault will dig you into a very deep hole.
