Pixie-Can you drive a car or moped? My friend works 2 evenings a week (tuesday and friday or saturday) 6-11pm and earns £7ph, plus tips and a free meal. Its an indian take-away and she says she easily clears £110 a week.

Or are you any good at ironing? Normally about £7+ph.

    Pixie,
I'm really sorry to hear that they treated you badly on Saturday after doing your absolute best for them  - they dont deserve you and you dont need them! You might feel that its all been a waste of time, but at least next time you can truthfully say you've had experience of this type of work!;)

Keep your chin up and good luck with the other two posts you've applied for - remember the best is sometimes worth waiting for!

  • Hey babe,

So sorry to hear it - you never know, you might get something as payment through the post yet but I guess you don't want to go back there.

I'm feeling a bit down myself just now as everything I try seems to go wrong - i.e. one step forward, two steps back so I know exactly how you feel. So sorry to hear you had a rubbish Saturday night - keep looking and have a nice bath and a good read tonight (all near enough free!) - thinking of you

Sorry to heat your bad news. Taking the preverbial or what. Are they an established company? It may be worth bringin it to the attention of senior management????

That delivery type job sounds good ( if you can dfive??) free food as well. I'm considering a part time job when my circumstances will permit.

    Take care

How awful for you. That is really rotten of them. How mean can you get. I hope something good comes your way soon but you are better off not working there if that is what they are like. Consider it a lucky escape because you might have been treated like a doormat.

I'm sorry, that is really awful. There you are working hard to try and clear your debts and they're just after free labour.

Have you got a local paper that you could write to and try to exploit this place? They could be doing the same thing to loads of people and getting god knows how many hours of free labour!!

Good luck with trying to find something else.
