Espn

We have a full sky package at the moment, our phone is with them too but my other half wants ESPN. Are there any good deals around?

  • Don't know about deals, but I have ESPN, and I don't think I have watched more than ten hours in the past 2 months.

Its a lot better than Setanta, but if you have Skysports, I would say you have the pick of the bunch already, and you really aren't missing out on much.

I pay an extra £9 a month through Sky for ESPN.

ESPN is well worth the money, imho.

Lots of US Sports, Footie from all over Europe etc, although I can see that If you are happy with Rugby, Cricket and EPL, you should be ok with Sky.
  • I signed up for ESPN last night, to watch the Man City v West Ham game. I left it late, as it was 50/50 chance of me going to the game itself. Anyway, when it was clear that going wasn't an option I picked up the remote and signed up usung the interactive service. £9 if you also have Sky Sports, or £12 stand alone. I'm sure I have heard that this will increase slightly when the VAT goes up again? I was advised that it could take up to 4 hours, but I had the ESPN HD channel straight away. Fellow Man City fans at work had the same success.

The only deal I can see is the £5 credit if you sign up on line or through the remote (interactive).

I have to say, we were all impressed with the presentation line up. Although Sky have cherry picked the best games, they need to pull their socks up to compete with what we saw last night. All in all a good product, I would say?

Of note, you have to sign up for at least a month (not a problem, the line-up of games looks alright to me?) and they will bill twice to start off (current month and a month in advance), but with the £5 credit, who cares?
