wait a min lol .........now when i click on windows mail all my email is there its been transfered from my aol acount wow lol now just need to work out how to send from there and be able to use links and send mail like in the competition one ...thats still not doing it bye the wayResolve not to be poor, Whatever you have , Spend less.0

In windows mail it's under tools > accounts and then select the email account and click properties

Tick that
Replace 25 with 587
Try it with the SSL connection boxes ticked too, if it still does not work, untick them.0 -
Thank you so much jaffa thats it sorted i replaced the numers 25 with 587 and there was no need to tick the ssl conection boxes it worked without doing that

Notice how some of the words are blue? They're hyperlinks, one of which led directly to a tutorial which would have told you precisely how to get Windows Mail working with your AOL e-mail account.
