Santander Zero payment queries

You are correct in what your saying, we will not charge interest if your in credit. However the other posters on this board are correct, it is against the terms of use of your card to deliberately "front load" it.
Good luck on your theory test. :j Mines is in a few days aswell. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Hi
Been a reader for a while but never posted. Can anyone give me the sort code and account number for making online payments to a Santander Zero card? I haven't had a statement yet but need to pay off my holiday spends before the interest mounts up.
Cheers, Ally0 -
SC: 090099 Acc Num: 01000007 and Ref number is the 16 digit card number usually starting in 528689.
Please include this information otherwise it will not credit the correct account.

OK next question might be trickier.
I have paid just more than enough to cover my holiday spends, and now want to make a balance transfer. Are payments allocated on the date they are paid? Or on the next statement date? I would hate to make the transfer now and then discover that my payment has been allocated to the transfer rather than my spending.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks, Ally0 -
The payment heirachy works as such:
Fee's incurred due to late payment
Fee's incurred due to B.T
Fee's incurred due to Cash Withdrawals
Balance Transfers
Purchases
Cash Withdrawals
So in effect, the money you paid for your purchases if indeed that is all you have done in so far on this account should only take into account the purchases.
But without looking at your account it is impossible to say.I am a Mortgage Adviser

Is that same day from Abbey accounts since it is 09, even though Abbey are not operating FP?0 -
No, Abbey accounts do not currently send payments via faster payments therefore it will still take 3-5 working days.
However if sending from a non Abbey account then provided that bank send FP it will credit within 2 hours.I am a Mortgage Adviser

Has the OP ever read the terms & conditions, or read the back of his credit card bill? The answers to all these questions and more are all there in paper already!
Sorry... just seems like one should read the terms they are agreeing to be tied into when they sign a joint contract with a financial institution...Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Someone on here who works for Abbey/Santander?
I would like to see the bosses on here myself so I could tell them exactly the problems I've had with them over the years. Nothing major but a whole series of niggling irritations and systemic gremlins that make it unnecessarily tricky to run my business. In the end, it has been easier to gradually walk away.
Best of luck catieeb06
I must stress that I'm not having a pop at you BTW.0
