I'm at my internship from 9 to 5.30, four days a week.
Working week to me is somewhere between 36 and 40 hours though."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
46 for me (over 6 days a week)0

My contract says 35 hours, but the unwritten convention is you should be working 10% more than this at least. At the moment I am doing about 38 a week but i'm starting to find the job very easy and boring and am not particularly busy as a result. A few months ago when I was busier and still learning I was doing 50-55 hours a week.0

That sounds about right, some mornings I go in about 7 as it is the only time I can do stuff in the office without being disturbed by students.I don't do paid work but my dh works 8.30-7.30 in the office then a few more hours when he gets home til bedtime. Has Fri night and Saturday off. Works at home all day Sunday.
I wont work out the actual hours, as it'll depress me. People who think University Lecturers have an easy life, think again!

I am usually at work for about 40 hrs per week - time spent doing work is a lot less though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:CARPE DIEMaut viam inveniam aut faciamBe sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour0

I work 40 hours a week, but it's shift work. Normal hours are either 7-3, 3-11 or 8-4. I usually take 1/2 hour for lunch.0

39 hours this week have been scheduled this Saturday - Friday, but last week I did 51 hours. I work 6 days a week (got Tuesday off this week, only just finished for today)The Very Right Honourable Lady Tarry of the Alphabetty thread-I just love finding bargains and saving moneyI love to travel as much as I can when I canLife has a way to test you, it's how you deal with this that matters0

I'm contracted for 40 hours a week, but I often do up to 60 to get projects finished.“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”

35 hours over a 5 day week (mon-fri), though it can be more, particularly the first week of the month0

I win!! :T hehe
Back from last year easter till easter this year when i was self-employed it was roughly 90hours per week.
(Sunday night to Friday evening only though, no weekends)
Some weeks it endedup hitting the 100 hours mark,
although quite a few days i would only have to work for like a few minutes per day,
so it wasn't too bad.
:A
Then from easter till few weeks ago this year it was 48hours per week, 4days on - 4days off shift pattern.
Then now unemployed so 0hours of work per week, which i do have to say i like quite alot as it is very relaxing. :rolleyes:0
