Where I work, some 'full-time' staff are on 37.5 hour contracts, others on 35 hours, and some on 30 hours. But any of those can be over 4 or 5 days, so you might do 4 long days or 5 short ones.

i only do about 30 hours a week but I used to do a min of 67.
I dont really consider it to be full time although it is a full time contract
  • I'm contracted 16 hours but in the two years I've worked at my work place I've never done that. It varies from week to week, some it can be 20 hrs and then upto 50. I'd say average was 25.

    I do a basic 38.75 hour week.

Those hours can be on a week of days or they can be on a shift which can include one weekend day.

Some weeks i also have some on call hours bolted on which could potentially be open ended upto a 60 hour week though thankfully thats rare.:eek::eek:
  • I work 39 hours a week over 5 days. Usually 8:30 - 17:30 with an hour's unpaid dinner break, or 2-10 with half an hour paid break.

Usually there's strictly no overtime for anyone working 39 hours but I'm going in to do 4 hours today as it's almost time and a half and I can't say no!
