Can I swap sim?
Know nothing about mobiles but I have an old batterd mobile on pay as you go and want to use a newer one given to me but I don't know if it is a contract phone, can I just put the sim from the old one into the new one and use that as before?
Cant find all the blurb that came with the phone but it has the persons original unlock number that I know and that is all I know.
Techno numpty I'm afraid.
TIA

If the new phone is on the same network as the old one (or if the new one is a unlocked or sim free) you should be ok.
The only problem you might have would be if the sim is really old you may not be able to use 3g service as older sims aren't built for access and can't be upgraded to work with newer data services. It'll still work with voice/text and probably gprs...0
