My daughter who is nearly three regularly imagines playmates who she holds in her hands and brings to life with a quick blow of air, and then plays with. They are named after real friends, relatives, and even made up names.
I'm not at all worried as it probably shows a good imagination, and may be helpful as she will be an only child. Has anyone else experienced this?
Similar I guess?
My daughter aged 2 spent about 3 months of her life waking up every day pretending to be a dog.
At one point she even wanted me to put her dinner on the floor so that she could eat it.
We all used to have to pat her head and stop her lickingus and every question we asked her was answered with the word "wuuffff"."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0
