Kenco Rapport has my vote! £4.28 for 300g! (Asda)
I love my coffee and have stocked up on Carte Noir at £2 in asda for home, where I drink less but savour more. I always get rapport for work though. It's a lovely flavour, more rounded and less dark than the strong coffees I tend to appreciate at home.

PS I don't like nescafe, when I go round to M&Ds I say 'anyone fancy a lovely cup of coffee? Well never mind, we'll just have nescafe instead' :rotfl:low carb recipe list - link on page 1 low carb support threadYou don't have any control over what life throws at you.You DO have control over how you react

If you are unable to swap immediately from nescafe - buy a cheaper brand as well and mix the 2.0

Glad the OP started this thread, looking for a cheaper coffee for OH (I don't drink it) we use Kenco atm but its too dear.
Totally agree that money-saving shouldn't be at the expense of others and am looking forward to trying the fairly traded Sainsburys tea (at the moment we have Tesco's FT, which is fine). Tesco's FT coffee is very good and defo cheaper than Kenco. M&S's gold label FT brand is cheaper than Nescafe Gold Blend but much nicer IMO. :j0 -

That's what I do

Another vote for Tesco Classic.
Have tried both the Asda and Sains equivalent but they have a slight bitter tang, as opposed to the "nice" bitterness that coffee is supposed to have.0 -
