another vote for tesco`s own branded, always get a good size jar for around £2.20

we have nescafe at the in-laws, we cant tell the difference

I cannot stand instant coffee.

I like to buy Starbucks, I normally get bags when they are on 3 for 2 and will buy maybe 12 bags and stick them in the freezer.

I have switched from coffee to tea (breakfast tea) but its still clipper tea - but its fairtrade - moneysaving shouldnt come at the expense of explotation of other people! But my OH still likes her goldblend!!!

Kenco rapport, love it, but only buy it when on special, ot it or £1.99 at morrisons a month or so ago so stocked up

Sainsburys Basics tea bags are 28p for 80 and they are lovely, as nice as Twinnings and they are FAIR TRADE:T

Glad the OP started this thread, looking for a cheaper coffee for OH (I don't drink it) we use Kenco atm but its too dear.

i have also been recommended the aldi coffee but i don't get in there often , i use tesco rich roast and like it

We get the Tesco's one usually. It's about £3 for 350g here which isnt bad, really.

Tesco fairtrade at the moment. I've been boycotting nestle since I was a kid, and anytime I go somewhere that has nescafe I can barely get it down me- tastes so watery and weird! I don't know if the other versions are different but I noticed that the basic nescafe isn't freeze-dried, so look out for ones that don't say freeze-dried maybe
