I love Nescafe and couldnt find a cheaper one I liked. A friend gave me a jar
of Brook Bond Bon Premium from Poundland. I love it its very like Nescafe
I stocked up with 10 jars until hopefully I can find Nescafe on offer somewhere

I just use supermarket own brand granules, usually about 65p to £1/100g. I can't tell the difference now. I get Nescafe at my parents' house and really can't tell them apart.
  • Tesco Classic Coffee - I do not even like Nescafe any more. Nothing touches the Tesco stuff but I switched a long time ago now. The 200g jar is usually cheaper than the 100g or 300g jars.

Is it the Gold Blend you mean? I think it's £5.79 by me for the 200g jar!
I can't pay that. Hopefully the supermarkets will end up with so much of the stuff going close to sell by date, they'll have to shift it cheap.
    Serves 'em right eh?

  • I boycott Nestle products so buy Clipper coffee, it's worth the bit extra - but then I don't drink much coffee so it lasts well.

    hi
I've recently stopped buying nescafe too. We tried a few diff ones and have now started buying Aldi gold roast; cannot remember how much exactly but about 3.50 ish for a big jar. DH had objected to other cheaper brands I'd tried but once I decanted the alsi coffee into our jar and told him it was nescafe there was no looking back:D:rotfl:

  • Kenco! OK, so it's not very MSE, but other than Kellogs cornflakes it's my only concession....Nescafe is foul IMO.
