Do those on the thread want a PN style resume from moi to save them time actually watching the prog? I am happy to oblige.:D
Anyway.......it was a truly painful programme that illustrates how a few useless types can take down whole communities with their ineptitude.
.
Yes please.
I did make an appropriate comment too, but you are quite right.

Oh and could I just add?
Obviously OH is my no 1 but Christian Bale is just to die for...so manly and edgy and smart and utterly lush plus dishy personified and ..........YKWIM?!
So glad you said that - felt I'd lowered the tone.
But if you're going to join us down here in the gutter, then that's all right.
Phew.
Interesting OP, by the way - just didn't feel I could add much.0 -
Now, if I wasn't so dam busy earning a living to support my slightly non MSE lifestyle and so involved in Trashtastic, disposable products that no-one really needs at all (albeit Made in UK), I would muscle in on it for sure.
There is an opportunity just sitting there waiting to be sorted out.
The HT industry needs some zap and spark.........
You could make a really night, tight tweed outfit for Noel Fielding - take tweed metrosexual.
Whaddya think?
Actually, the Mighty Boosh do use tweed - mainly the other one, though (Julian Barratt).0 -

Oh, go on.
where do I remmeber a strapless fitted tweed dress from?
Also, one of the things tweed is great for is austerity smart clothing: holds its shape well, brushes off inbetween infrequent dry cleaning.0 -
Strapless tweed...that sounds really pretty.
I'd wear that.0 -
Being male I can't have an opinion on these guys. I asked the wife and feedback was as follows:
Noel Fielding: might be o.k. if he didn't wear make-up. Men in make-up just isn't right.
Viggo Mortensen: (showed picture) he needs a wash.
Jonny Depp: He reminds me of my brother (they do look alike). Except my brother is less feminine.
John Casey (/Adam Baldwin) is more her type. The looks and personality from the chuck series.0 -

Have you seen the prog another time? A singer from Harris only wears tweed onstage and got married in a totally yummy cream, strapless gown made from soft Harris tweed..it was lovely too. A bit trite in design as had the old pearls sewn onto it...but trite is commercial so whatever......:D0 -

I have no idea what I've seen or not.
Gets very confusing.
But no, ure my memory i of a tweedy coloured strapless dress (to the sweet spot just below knee) maybe with a corsage.0 -
Tweed's very flattering - the problem is not being able to find any nicely cut stuff for girls in it.0
