Cancelling my three contract.

Hi,

I have been with three for years and was close to cancelling at last re-new but got caught up with all their sales crap and ended up signing up for a new 18 month contract. I have asked to cancel and they are charging me £294.57 plus 2 furthur monthly payments. My contract is meant to run until Nov 06 2010.

I was wondering if anyone has some advice on what to do here?

Basically i hate three, bad reception, bit of a rip-off, their customer services is exteremly irritating... and I want an iphone.

Thanks for all help! :)

that's about your only option I'm afraid, although you could reduce your tariff, to bring the total amount down
  • how would i reduce my tariff?

I cant believe they charge nearly £23 a month cancellation when my contract is £18 + £9 add-ons.

    Ring and ask them!

but you can only do it once you are so many months through your contract, on only 1 step at a time

unless you are already on the cheapest tariff, in which case you have no choice to pay full amount off, or sit and wait
  • That is the point of sales to get you to renew, i'm afraid there is nothing you can do. As others state you could request for a reduction on the traffif but you have agreed to pay them for a service until Nov 2010. Unless they breach the contract, you are stuck with it.

    ROBBERY!

If one of your addons is £5 (which Internet Max is) and is set for the length of your contract ie part of your contract then that makes the £23 a month cancellation charge.
