  • With child tax credit and working tax credit normally you have to have a household income less than £15 050 to get 100% grants or free light bulbs. Some local authorities get to many light bulbs though and may still give you some out for free.

I'll trade you my degenerative spinal arthritis with you anytime you want, I got that free from hard graft most of my life and my house is privately owned and paid for outright since the 70s. I would love nothing more than to throw the little money I get to survive on, back at the people that make me regret ever being in the condition I'm in day in day out. Some people really don't know how good they've got it. I'm on the most basic of income support with the most basic band of health benefit. I don't get anything else, no help of any kind and I bloody well don't want it, no matter how much my family and I have contributed to the system over the years. What other health needs I have I buy myself or family buy for me. Please don't whine about stuff you really have no minute idea of. :(

I agree! I am deaf and have rheumatoid arthritis. I have worked all my life and the doctors demanded me to stop working after I couldn't hardly walk. I'm now on crutches for short distances and wheelchair for long distances. And I'm only 40 something! Perhaps I could have that person's hearing and legs and back and he can have my "benefits". I would trade them any day of the week. Some people really don't know how fortunate they are.

I've just used the RFB9FUM and the lady said was a very old code and the offer wasn't running any more. She then said to me to wait for newpost with the new codes and then call again.
