I have Freesat, Freesatfromsky and Freeview.

    Sky has the most channels.

Freeview has the lowest number of channels, however I far prefer Freeview to the others.

Channel 5 is available on all of the systems.
  • Given the choice , I would choose a motorised dish. No subscription and a vast array of channels... .http://www.davistv.co.uk/european-satellite.html.
for a list of satelites available... http://www.lyngsat.com/
Channel 5 is available on all of the systems.
No it isn't, that's partly why freeview boxes will need retuning on sep 30th.

Perhaps I should have said, Channel 5 is available on all of my systems ( as listed ).

I also have a motorised dish, a waste of time IMO, nothing really worth watching these days.

FreesatHD for me please. It's the only way (right now) to get the same experience as SkyHD without paying a subscription. I wouldn't choose my TV based on number of channels. Some of the channels are pure rubbish. I don't watch channels, I watch programmes!
And yes, you do get Ch5, and a decent EPG etc. iPlayer will be a Freesat advantage over Sky whenever Freesat get it launched, obviously your Freesat box will need to be near a network point.
