thanks for letting me know, have double checked over the double points thing and it doesnt say anyhere on it that it cant be used on xmas nights, etc so might give it a try, will report back if it works. not likely i know but will give it a try, cant hurt to try. other day managed to get 5 vouchers to go through even though it states one per product! fingers crossed! ;)

Just a few points I thought I would mention :

    • Firstly I have visited a few Christmas shopping evenings in the last few years at different stores in the Greater Manchester area , and as for using double points vouchers etc - I have NOT been able to use them on these evenings in the past when I got to the till.
    • Although I have visited the instore advantage points machines on the Christmas shopping evening date and been able to use the ones Ive printed off - i.e last year I got extra points for spending over £30 that day - so all points added togehter was great .
    • Im afraid in the past I did have over £100 of stuff about 2 years ago on the evening and I only recieved one lot of points- So I suggest spliting your shopping into muliples of £50 spend if you can - But I suppose that could have changed by now.
    • The events in the past you only got £10 extra points so its now gone to £12 in points ;)
    • They usually add another date late in the yera that doesnt get advertised online so keep checking your local Boots store window for a advertisment for more points.
    • Here is the link of how to find out when / where and times of your local Boots Xmas Evenings
    http://www.boots.com/en/StoreLocator/?displayView=StoreLookupView&requiredAction=displayStoreLookupPage&cm_mmc_o=HFzbkCjCmBkAlCjCnnvii9CjCrFzlGEMbfwGEMbfwv

Type your postcode area in the search box and MAKE sure you click on Expand and tick the box " shopping xmas Events " to find out when your local one is :o

I hope this is of use to someone x

I notice online Boots have an offer of 750pts wyb 3 Benefit items. Anyone know if this offer is also instore? Hoping to combine with the extra points at the Xmas shopping evening.

This seems like a good time to buy the smooth skin thingy... especially if we get 6000 points for spending £250. Will the £5 off electrical beauty coupon from the mailing work on this too? (I know I will need to buy something else to get me over the £250 mark.)

Thinking of buying perfume too. I've not done a Christmas night before, but did I read that they sometimes give out extra coupons to be used on the second Christmas night? Can anyone tell me what they are please, if I am right?
