Lakeside is tomorrow night :j I might see if I can top-up phones at the same time! do you have to visit a kiosk a few days after to get your points? Or does it get automatically added to your card?

Points earned instore are added to your card immediately.

for those that have shopped online when the christmas event is on, does the stuff sell out quickly? (probably toys would?) is it worthwhile waiting up and going on after midnight tonight? I have a massive list and would be annoyed if it all sold out!!

    thanks!

According to the terms and conditions that angeluk2 posted up yesterday you have to collect the points 5 working days after the event at the ACM machine. Its probably to stop people getting points on the night then using them to buy something straight away instead of spending more money!

Copied from Boots web site -

    Terms and Conditions:

£12 worth of points to spend in store.
A total of 1200 points will be automatically added to your Advantage Card once and each time the £50 threshold has been met in a single transaction – points will be automatically added next time you visit the Advantage Card Extra Offers kiosk in store after 5 days.
£50 must be spent in a single transaction.
Points are not available on prescription items, infant milks (up to 6 months), gift vouchers/cards, gift boxes and delivery charges.
Unfortunately, points cannot be spent on Boots.com.
This offer is not available online on Boots flowers, Boots kitchen appliances, BUPA Health Checks, Boots Digital Photo Centre, at Boots services websites (Opticians, Boots Insurance Services) or with other third party websites unless otherwise stated.
The offer is available at Boots.com from 28/10/09 to 29/10/09 only.
No cash alternative is available and the offer is non-transferable.
The offer cannot be used in conjunction with certain other Boots.com offers.
Boots UK Limited reserves the right to withdraw this offer without notice.
*Allow 5 working days for your points to be added to your card at the Advantage Card Extra Offers Kiosk.

Yep, I did wonder that, but it doesn't say anything online, just the dates? might phone up Boots and ask...

Edit to add - just called and the woman wasn't sure! just said it will be definitely be online from 3pm, but she thought it should be all day. Guess i'll just check after midnight tonight.

Sorry to snip, but those are the T&C'S for the online points events where points have to be collected instore. For the instore events points will be added to cards immediately in the normal way.
