Help with LG KS360 please

My daughter has the lg360 and she cant change the ringtone on it. we go to playlist get the song on go to options and set as ringtone, press yes, get complete flash up but still doesnt change it?? Can anyone advise

Dont have that model - I have LG cookie

Is the ringtone MP3 format?
Is it stored on a memory card or the phone memory - worth swapping and putting it in appropriate folder (usually Music but might be ringtones).
Are you trying to change it via the music player or via Settings->Profiles -> Change ringtone
When you change the ringtone - is the profile setting changed? i.e. is the change of ringtone visible.

Hi,

I have the KS360, to change my ring tone i open the menu, go to media album, select sounds (option 4) select the song i want and say set as ringtone. It works fine for me and my sounds are stored on my simcard.
