  • You can't return it because of the Data Protection Act or something like that...the same way you can't return memory sticks.

    You can return it to Argos if it was bought on the phone/internet and delivered to your house, if it was bought in store then you cant.

  • I bought something yesterday from Argos and had talked to assistant about not being sure if it was the right thing and asked if I could bring it back. I was told yes, of course, if you get home, dont want it or its the wrong shape/colour/size etc you can bring it back.... When they gave me the receipt, as I walked off, I saw the 30 day exemption bit. When I asked the assistant she then decided I couldnt return it if opened.

    so my point is they dont always tell you about the 30 day exemption.

    Anyway, I digress.I would have thought selling a sat nav nearer to Xmas would allow you to get most of your money back in this situation. amazon is a good place to sell them.

    Cheers for all this. Might take it back anyway cos the sound is Shi*e on and it keeps cutting out unless anyone wants to but a newish Navman !!!
