You can return it to Argos if it was bought on the phone/internet and delivered to your house, if it was bought in store then you cant.

I bought something yesterday from Argos and had talked to assistant about not being sure if it was the right thing and asked if I could bring it back. I was told yes, of course, if you get home, dont want it or its the wrong shape/colour/size etc you can bring it back.... When they gave me the receipt, as I walked off, I saw the 30 day exemption bit. When I asked the assistant she then decided I couldnt return it if opened.

so my point is they dont always tell you about the 30 day exemption.

Anyway, I digress.I would have thought selling a sat nav nearer to Xmas would allow you to get most of your money back in this situation. amazon is a good place to sell them.
