Darragh, any chance of you correcting the PB site where it say's 5 points for every £1, the low points advertised on the main shop and earn page almost put me off ordering. (P.S. do I get piggypoints for spotting the mistake, lol)

Thanks for pointing that out. As I've noted before, normally the first person to email us at postmaster@pigsback.com will be credited PiggyPoints for their help. Dizzie, if you PM me I'll bypass this for once and credit your PiggyBank as a thank you.

    Cheers

Oops I did all the quizzes and didn't refresh before posting the 3rd in a row rehab answer

Soooo I will just waffle on for a few more lines and Let you all know that my Daughter received a piggy bank, a pencil, two squeezy piggies and a certificate this morning for an entry she made in the colouring comp around 8 months ago, Pigsback took their time but have made a (now 4 year old) girl very happy!

Unfortunatly I have been left with just a pound to my name, as every scrap of change I had in the house is now living in the pig :-(

    :)

Nicest post of the week (so far). Glad we could cheer SOMEONE up - and remember we always welcome and reward (eventually) pictures, paintings, drawings, photos, poems and everything that people have gone to effort about :) Anything that can't be posted should be emailed to postmaster@pigsback.com

    Thanks

    Hello -
I want to order some books from Amazon through Pigsback but have a couple of questions as I haven't done this before, I wonder if anyone can help?

Do you get piggypoints on Amazon Marketplace books?

My Pigsback registered email address is different to the address registered with Amazon (because I like to keep a different email address for online shopping) although my name in it is the same. Do you think this will cause a problem when I email Pigsback with my Amazon purchase confirmation to get the piggypoints? I can forward the confirmation to my Pigsback-registered addy, then email it on to Pigsback, but don't know if that will be acceptable and don't want to have the hassle of chasing points.

I can get a similar amount of points through other sites but wanted to give Pigsback a go this time.

    Thanks!

Whilst you are on....my DS1 sent off for some of the freebie piggies but none arrived despite us being online when you posted them and only a few seemed to have viewed and thanked your post. He is most disappointed!!

well as we are being picky, surely Denmark's currency is spelt Krone not Krona? Did I hear a rumour that we might get piggy points for pointing out errors? Come on Darragh, it's worth a try!!

Sorry for all the posts, I'm going through them all by date and post (chronologically) and replying to anything that doesn't seem to be answered...

Again, any errors should be reported to postmaster@pigsback.com and the first one to point it out credited with PiggyPoints.

    Thanks

Well Darragh I've just sent of for my 3rd £10 boots voucher since beginning of March I think it was I joined :) All though clickthroughs, offers like reporo (LOVED that one!) and referrals (most people at work it on it now lol) so I personally am very happy :) ok so there are a few hickups here and there but I really wouldn't worry too much :) Ofcourse the more free points the better but as someone to logs on almost every day I find my points slowly but surely grow and it's always exciting to see if TODAY it's going to be me that's won a competition :)

To be fair on PB/Darragh, if I emailed Barclays, John Lewis, Tesco or someone like that and told them that there was an error on their website, I wouldn't expect them to write back and thank me!

And from a lot of Darragh's posts, it sounds like they're really busy over there sorting things out, so they likely don't have time to reply unless there's a specific customer service question

Well even though this post was complimentary to us, PERSONALLY (purely personally) I have to say that if I pointed out an error, I'd at least like a thank you, and PiggyPoints would be nice too... And so when I'm made aware of things I try to reward people if I feel they deserve it.

However PM'ing me is not the best way to contact us or get things done - postmaster@pigsback.com is... and you'll notice from most of my posts I recommend you email us on this address - it helps us help you...
they likely don't have time to reply unless there's a specific customer service question

We try to make as much time for our members, but we have 500,000 active members (250,000 alone in the UK) and get a lot of queries, which we try to deal with. We're just open almost a year in the UK and get a lot of queries about the site and PiggyPoints, as well as specific queries with member accounts. I'm not excusing any delay on responding but I'd ask people to bear with us - we're working as hard as we can to make things better for you.

So - postmaster@pigsback.com is your best bet. Remember also (I repeat) to add postmaster@pigsback.com and membersupport@pigsback.com to your contacts/safe list to help us get our replies to you.

    Thanks

    Darragh
(about to get a lot of response to this one I bet!)

Just gotta say that I had a couple of problems with some Pigsback points being credited. Darragh eventually got it sorted and also popped in a few apologetic points, THANK YOU VERY MUCH DARRAGH!!! :j :T :j

You're most welcome :) Thanks for forwarding all the details to postmaster@pigsback.com - helped a lot!

Maybe I am expecting too much but Darragh did say they'd reward people with PiggyPoints if they pointed out mistakes with the site. I'd rather he didn't make the promises in the first place if they can't keep them.

Can I ask that people be careful when they write and read posts. A lot of misinformation can come from a variety of sources, but generally what you get from postmaster@pigsback.com, on our forums and from me is (at that time to the best of our/my knowledge) the right thing....

As above, there's been no talk from us saying that we wouldn't credit the PiggyPoints, it's just that I was away (for personal reasons) from the board and didn't see the PM...

    Thanks

    Darragh

(PS no offence to the original poster or anything, I just thought it was a good example of the need sometimes for patience)
