  • I didn't think you could claim on someone's behalf - you could press the It's me button...and send in the details .. but any pay out will go to the registered person...so you can't claim for someone else and 'swindle'; them out of their winnings can you?

As for seeing names that have gone past...I found my name had gone and I missed it (and the associated cash prize)...it doesn't bother me though as I missed it, and it is just a game after all!

And claiming for family members on 1 pc...well why should a family be penalised for only having 1 computer between them?

It's just a game....magic should be pleased for the added publicity that our site generates. I listened to them instead of Heart at the weekend!
  • It doesn't matter how many people claim from the same ip, you still claimed in the time and used your details, you could be doing it from the library where many people are using the same connection. :D I won a nice little amount on this and claimed myself, but I wouldn't be worried if someone claimed for me.

I am on about people who have already received letters saying they have submitted the wrong wrappers when they havnt, some I know, cant argue as they had submitted several names from their ip and several hundred codes and darn't, others were paid out when sending the wrong wrapper, loads amiss with that comp- I only did it a few times and only won £50 so hasnt effected me as such but am aware of many whom it has.

as for mixup, the idea of the comp really is for people to be watching the website for their own name....., making lists and claiming for some winners really negates what the comp is all about, I dont have a problem with it, just I dont think certain things should be posted and should be done via pm, all it will take is for 1 person to see thair name was up for eg £50 and has missed it and to read that others missed theirs (as in wernt around to see it) but someone claimed on their behalf, too many troublemakers/jealous peeps unfortunately:confused:

If you look at the bonkers thread, you would see that it's only 1 person who has said that she got an email saying she submitted wrong wrapper. I dunno where you get the '100s' from.

By claiming on someone's behalf, we mean them having your details, so if your name were to come out, they can fill in the claim form for you.

yes i understand that I think lol....but presumably any money would go to the person you are claiming on behalf of....so no-one can claim actual cash for someone else....if that makes sense...which I think is what knicky nacky was suggesting

1......I was on the bonkers thread and still am from 2nd week it started....I know of only ONE PERSON who is having a rough deal with McVities saying they sent wrong code.......Not hundreds of peeps. I won quite a lot from my addy with all my family..2 are elderly and disabled and wouldn't know how to use a computer if they tried so their details i entered on their behalf. and we have received all payments from McVities no probs at all in fact well pleased with their performance and i entered before and after T&C's changed.

2.....Yes I do have over 45 people I am watching for on mix up . Some people have young ones they have to take to nursery and I'm fortunate that my kids are just over the road at our school so i can watch for others. BUT if i notice any of my group of peoples details i will notify them and only claim if they want me to and it will not be published on the board.

3....nickynackynoodle....3 Posts and you said in one of them you are not new to mse but new to posting....BUT you registered Today so you are new to mse....;)

4...Best of luck to everyone on here and massive thanks to Bunn especially and butterfly as they both worked really hard to post on here....Hope your ok butterfly...:D
