One of the bits of advice last night, which had never occurred to me, is that if your kids have FB (or other social networking sites), make sure that you're listed on there as one of their Friends - the adviser reckons that the wrong sort of people who are trawling these sites will be put off if they see that kids have their parents on there, as it implies that you're involved and checking what they do.

That wouldn't be any good for me as when I divorced the kids dad I changed back to my maiden name so I have a different surname to my kids! :rolleyes:

I'm not worried as I'm more pc literate than your average home PC user! My kids would have a hard job hiding stuff from me (I used to work in Intelligence in the army)!!
