Can anyone explain this?

I had a call from my friend’s mobile today, I’ll call her Sue, I picked up and said Hi Sue as her name came up on the screen, and the male caller on the end said hello a couple of times and hung up, odd I thought. I rang back and asked for her and he said it must be a wrong number.

I’ve just spoken to Sue and she said she changed her number a couple of months ago, fair enough they’ve could’ve reallocated the number but out of all the millions of mobile numbers this person accidentally phones me? I find this very strange or is there a more simple explanation?

Maybe Sue sold off a mobile and sim to somene else but left the contacts stored?
  • I think the lesson here is always take your sim card out of a phone if you sell. You should also master reset it or it will remember contacts etc. saved on the phone memory.
A problem shared is a problem multiplied. :o
