You can check with the O2 customer services which line they use, i think its BT line - I am leaving Virgin Media - having BT line put in tomorrow under their free installion offer so will pay nothing then get the O2 broadband by buying through TopCash Back to get the £50 cash back. good luck :j0

Quidco may be better, depending on what package you're getting, http://www.quidco.com/o2-home-broadband/0

Virgin has a completely separate network as opposed to the Unbundled operators like O2 which can use a BT line.
In other word you can not get ADSL broadband down a line owned by virgin so if you pay virgin line rental you will need a new line0 -

Trying reading what the OP is saying....
firstly check if your on the VM ADSL LLU as virigin are now connecting via LLU if you are it will need to be non-LLU VM for o2 to work...
if your not in VM LLU you should be fine0 -
