Can the board MOD who moved the thread from this forum please tell me why it was moved?.
The thread I started had EVERYTHING to do with the Economy & Recession.......
You have left threads on which are basically mocking news stories and general banter, like "GORDON BROWN IS A "......
EDIT: FUNNY HOW THE "GORDON BROWN IS A " THREAD HAS JUST BEEN MOVED AFTER BEING LEFT ON THE BOARD FOR JUST UNDER 24 HRS...............

You forgot to pay homage to the board guides when posting.

I,m too livid to pay homage Afriend.
Board Mods do a good job in general but this was a serious thread, more that can be said about some of the threads left on.I'm pretty disgusted with it.
It would have been good manners to at least say why it was going to be moved so I had the oppotunity to explain why I believed it should stay...........
They let some real Crap,p1ss taking threads stay and ones that are actually important and have the right to be debated they move.....Disgraceful.......But hey The fishing industry is working class, middle class financial knobs don't want us cluttering up THEIR board......:mad:0 -
Gone againI came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left. :rolleyes:0

Yep and I'm gonna keep posting a thread until someone has the manners to explain. There was no swearing in it, nothing racist and It had everything to do with the Economy and recession.............
This could go on for days Bo;)
It does make you wonder what the board Mods motives are..0 -
I think they get moved when they don't understand ... the economy is affected by many things, not just house prices - and every exceptional story throws shock waves through some micro market that feeds into the bigger pool.
Trawlermen was so on topic I'm about to look for it on iplayer.0 -
1 - normally if a BOARD GUIDE moves a thread they post on it to say they've moved it - if MSE STAFF move them they rarely have spare time to do so.
2 - if you have a question about a thread being moved or think it shouldn't have been then CONTACT ABUSE - if you read the board FAQs and guides etc etc you'll find it's mentioned in there
3 - Just because you mention a thread doesn't mean it suddenly gets attention - the attention to the board could have been drawn by something entirely different and a bunch of stuff got cleaned as a result (I know that is what often happens with my boards because I have things to do like look after a baby... as a result I often have to play catch up after a couple of days...
4 - for the record - there are no BOARD MODS
There are volunteer BGs and there are paid MSE staff. Reposting a thread that has been deleted (I'm assuming it's been deleted) is probably not the best way of endearing you to the admin staff if it was them who removed it
5 - why not send a nice mail to abuse@moneysavingexpert.com and explain what you posted and why (they can by the way re-instate threads that have been deleted and are the only ones with that power). It might take them a day or two to reply (apparently they have full time jobs that Martin pays them to do
) but I'm sure they'll get back to you at some point
6 - have a glass of wine, a kitkat and relax - it's only a thread and I'm sure you'll get to the bottom of why it was removed/moved/whatever quicker and be less stressed if you ask Abuse nicely

My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
Oh and for the record I only looked at this thread because I actually like the series and it caught my attention
