What does the "i" mean after a mobile model number?

Think the i means its WiFi enabled.0

For example if a phone model was 6300i, what does the "i" indicate or stand for?
Thanks.
I think it is where O2 , Orange and the rest just call the phone different. I als othink thta this is when Orange would call a Nokia 3310 a 3310i and pile lots and lots of !!!! branding on the phone.0 -
if its a sony ericsson (for example):
w800i - international
w800a - americas
w800c - china
other manufacturers have different naming structures0 -

In the case of quite a few model numbers, it's actually just an aesthetic feature.
I believe it does - at least according to this http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2008/03/27/nokia-6300-wifi-6300i/0 -
"i" stands for, "same features as the previous model but we're going to make more cash from you by changing the colour of it".0

That's only in this specific instance though. In general, i doesn't mean wifi. The 6600i doesn't have wifi, nor does the 6600 that came before it.0 -

Agree, I have an LG KC910 which has wifi, they have brought out a newer model called KC 910i also with wifi.
It is just a newer model.0 -
I think it's just random naming tbh. So it means pretty much nothing.
I bought the Mrs a LG KU990i, which in that case meant Viewty Lite. No WiFi, no extra feartures, just meant I got Phone and charger in the box, whereas the KU990 comes with a load of accessories!0
