Of course you're not being silly! Our animal companions become very, very dear to us and that's as it should be. It's desperately sad about what happened to your darling, anyone would be heartbroken in your position and I'm so very sorry that this has happened. I lost one of my darlings to an accident two years ago and it still brings tears to my eyes when I think of her and how sorely I miss her.
Hugs to you0 -
Oh i'm so sorry
We've only just got our kitten and already he is completely part of the family, we would be heartbroken too xxxx

So sorry about your poor wee girl and her kits too. Cry as much as you want/need, our pets can be closer to us than some people and we grieve so much for them. :heart2:My favourite subliminal message is;0

Thanks everyone you are all so understanding - i do appreciate it
We laid her to rest this morning, in a wee spot in the garden she liked lying in. it was only right to put her in her fav spot...wasn't sure at first, but it was right. Got a lovely little tree to put on top and it gives me a bit of comfort knowing she's not far away.
Can't get her brother away though he's the sort that never comes home, but he now won't leave the spot and is lying on top... but things will get better
thanks for all your support you are all real stars! i can't thank you enough!

Sorry to come in so late but just wanted to also say how sorry I am...I love our 2 cats more than anything and would be devestated if anything happened to either of them.
And it's not silly at all to be upset...I'd be incosolableMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
My Burmese Bella went out for a stroll yesterday afternoon and has not returned, she usually gets home about 9ish, got a feeling that I wont see her again, she is only 13 months. Will wait until tomorrow until I phone vets and rescue centres, just dreading it.

fullstop, don't lose hope. It is very common for cats to go missing and turn up safe and sound a few days, week, months (even years!) later.
I will cross my fingers for you.0
