Heartbroken :(

My neighbour just came to our door about an hour ago to say there was a cat lying in there garden, went to see and it was my heavily pregnant cat. Looks like she caught herself and broke her neck....

sorry if this is the wrong place to post, just had to talk to someone :( feel silly for being so upset but I am, she was my little companion who kept me company on my hubby's long nights at work...

sorry once again.

Oh my god, how awful - you poor thing. I would be distraught, so no need to feel silly.

Is it too late to take her to the vet to save the kittens?

So sorry about your cat, it must be awful for you.

Don't feel silly, it's natural to be upset

My thoughts are with you xxx
  • i'm so sorry for your loss, she was a member of your family & you have every right to grieve for her & should not apologise for doing so.

It must have been a huge shock, also for your neighbour who found her, thank god they cared enough to come round & ask if she was your cat. Thankfully it does sound like it was a quick end for her & I hope your Hubby will be supportive.

If you feel the need please p.m me, i adore all cats & when any of mine pass away they are buried at a pet cemetry, i am in rented property & could not bear the thought of leaving them behind when i move which most of my friends think is completely ott but its what i choose to do & helps me cope  x

  • so very sorry to hear this emmy - little creatures give so much love; it is devastating when you lose them - it's not silly to be sad. Take care x
  • You wouldn't be the loving owner that you were if you didn't feel upset, so no it's not silly to be upset.

Sorry to hear of your girl.
