Hmmm. After my problems with other phones are sorted out I may be tempted by this offer, his got £180 BIN but his also got a best offer, so ill say i can get the phone for about £150. My question is: Can I trust this seller?
He hasnt got much feedback, they are very cheap and it doesnt even have a proper description of the item. Im not sure.
What do you all think?
Feedback welcomes!

Good grief - haven't you had enough trouble with phone auctions today? Anyway, I would stay clear. As you noted all his feedback is on relatively cheap items that he has bought recently, and now he has a number of high value items up (who would spend £1200 on a dell computer from someone like this?). If it walks like a duck...

lol, that like the only thing I can sell on. Yes, I do buy and sell.
Thanks for the help,

I thought that you were saying in another thread that you had bid on too many phone auctions and didn't have the money. Now you're considering bidding on another!
I think you should avoid this seller.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
To be brutal if you think that looks completely OK then maybe ebay isn't the venue for you. The seller has been mainly selling items less than a fiver then suddenly lists 4 very expensive items on a BIN (no waiting round to get caught), some have no photos and the one that does has a stock photo.
He might be genuine of course, but you are unlikely to find any experienced ebayers buying as it just screams scam.

I see, thanks for the help.
However, payment is through paypal, so, even if people do get conned they can reclaim their money right? even though its a long process. The other dodgy thing is he ONLY accepts paypal, not collection or any other payment method.
Cant anyone inform eBay about this? even though there is no proof.0 -
Paypal don't always go in the buyers favour, so it's not worth the gamble. A lot of ppl only accept paypal, I would olnly offer collection on an item too big to post, and I am considering stopping cheques as now I have moved, I cannot easily get to the bank and it is not fair to hold up the buyer waiting for it to clear, also cheques nowadays are few between. I think you already know the answer to your question.0

lazymoezy....how on earth can you report someone to eBay because they only accept Paypal...????????????..and because you think he's dodgy (WITH NO PROOF as you admit).. you're asking people to report him to eBay!!
On what grounds?? he's done nothing wrong...
Never mind trusting the seller.......you're the main concern here.... you don't seem to have a clue what you want or who to deal with... and your suggestion that someone reports him to eBay because YOU think he could be dodgy...with no proof...just about sums you up........... I guess you're about 15 or 16 years old tops?? Am I right??
mikeif i had known then what i know now0 -
No, I never said that i was going to report him on the grounds that he only accepts Paypal, I just said could I report him to eBay so they can do a proper check up, he looks very dodgy and I didnt know if oyu could get eBay to do some sort of extra check, most unlikely but I asked here first.
BTW its not just ME who thinks he is dodgy, EVERYONE here seems to think that apart from YOU.
It's obvious im 16 because I've been saying that since I came into this section of the website. Before you say that im underaged blah blah blah, just read my previous posts, cant really be bothered to explain atm.0 -
lazymoezy....
I've only seen a couple of your ill written posts...so didn't know your age..but no great surprise that you're 16.
As for your comment to me where you say you didn't mention reporting him..these are YOUR words from YOUR post..."
" The other dodgy thing is he ONLY accepts paypal, not collection or any other payment method.
Cant anyone inform eBay about this? even though there is no proof."
So...you ARE asking for him to be reported WITH NO PROOF ( your words )......and trying to get someone else to do it for you. You never mentioned " check ups" in your original post... and can I suggest you don't deny saying something when it's already in plain view in the same thread.....LOL!
And what makes him dodgy???? Have you any proof he's dodgy? He'd be a sight dodgier if he accepted cash / PO's rather than Paypal...
I didn't know you could get credit cards at your age btw

The first line meant that he only accept one method of payment unlike many other eBayers I have come across. The second line should have been a new paragraph or in another paragraphas it had nothing to do with the first line, you got the wrong end of the stick and it is my faul as I type like a nutter, I dont read what I write, just click 'submit reply', don't really see a reason to make use of formal language on here. Its quicker to use words like 'coz', '2' etc etc.
EDIT: There are many things that scream out 'conn!', I just pointed some out on here n there were a few others that were pointed out by people on here, hence, the reason why i put it on here, to see other clues.
The reporting part was my mistake, just wanted eBay to look him up and do a thorough check to see if he hasnt been banned before, unlikely they'll do it, but thats why I came on this board to get info.
Oh yeah, im the special one, I've had a card since I was 10
. Jokin, it's my sisters and I dont use it, everything I say on here is practically from her doings, I just come here to get some FRIENDLY advice.
