We just had the nastiest runniest exploding nappy ever (contents soaked through three layers and the outermost was new ) resulting in Emergency Bathtime. Molly loathes baths, and I thought I'd steal Skinty's trick of bfing her in there to calm her. Sadly she managed to wriggle free of the eye covering flannel and inhale water and it was all a bit of a disaster.
Do you put her ears in the water? Both mine hated being 'sat' in the bath but if you hold them lying dow with ears in the water they suddenly calm - I guess its like being back in the womb for them  I lie Ed on my legs so he can't roll but his head is part submerged and I have 2 hands for washing him. Also try diff temps, some babies just like grown ups like a 'hot' bath and others like it cool.

Glam, please can I have your thoughts on English speaking parents sending children to welsh-medium schools?

Would be very interested if you didn't mind sharing :)

I know u didn't ask me but I have a friend that grew up with english only speaking parents but was sent to welsh school; he told me he found it incredibly hard to read and spell because the 2 languages were so different and his parents couldn't help him and he had dyslexia on top of that

Ed much improved today, Chris only had 1 wee accident while daddy was[STRIKE]n't[/STRIKE]looking after him  he did 3 poops in his pants though (he finds it a bit upsetting though which I guess is a good thing:confused:) It appears to me that he doesn't understand how to poop IYSWIM??
Anyhoo I'll be buying him Madagascar on DVD because his chart is stickerlicious :D

Glam one word; microwave ;):D In our 900w micro a 5oz bottle took about 40seconds (bottle kept in fridge beforehand) *disclaimer yes I know I'm such a bad mum I could have burnt my baby with hotspots :p* (but I wouldn't coz I'm not !!!!!! and gave the bottle a shake and let it cool a bit first)

am I the only one that serves room temp bottles??

Jamie's are kept in the fridge so I bring them up to RT but cartons are just poured in and served as is.

    Love Jasmine's room!!

    Hi all, btw!

Just jumped in here as I have missed soooo many pages. Fancy me having a RL!:D.

PS: does anyone else love Paolo Nutini? Think I'm driving DH crackers with it on loop!

ETA: MFD, yay for Benjamin! I can't sit down for 2 mins before my son pulls on my trouser leg to stand :rotfl:

Scruffy, how are things going? I received my free Humphrey ABC book yesterday and can't believe the company wrote in biro on the cover!;).

It's pouring down outside but I'm all snuggled up in my duvet, I may be mad but I prefer autumn/winter to summer as I love that you can layer up and get all snuggly when it's cold, but when it's warm there's only so much you can take off before it's indecent :rotfl:
