EATING ADVICE PLEASE - (before I disown/or worse this silly baby)

I am seriously tearing my hair out with Kai's eating, or lack of it!!! In every other way he is fabulous, but he just won't eat proper dinners. He either sits there letting it drip out of his mouth refusing to swallow it or screams as though he's being murdered.....

He will eat finger foods...so toast/rusks/quavers/bread, but no proper full dinner, I have been trying jars and home cooked, although less home cooked as I am sick of wasting my time cooking just for it to go in the bin.

I am sure it is 'just a phase' BUT it has been going on for about 6wks or more now and is really becoming upsetting for me. It doesn't help that I am not well at the moment and so have a lot less patience than normal.

    Mel x

Tee tree and Lavender are both natural antiseptics. I actually had dettol baths after both my babies and my stitches healed up within a week both times...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Mel, some babies just have no interest in food until closer to a year. What is his milk intake like?

Hello, new 1st time mum here! Currently on my first day at home with baby :) Some of you will know me from the pregnancy thread, hello again! Was given so much advice in hospital I can't remember it all now and my MW hasn't been yet but doing some online shopping and was told to get something to put in my bath to help my stitches heal but I can't remember what. Any ideas? Thanks!

Congrats Jenny - off to see what you've called Noogle!!
    Was it Witchhazel?
My MW told me not to listen to the old wives tale about putting salt in the water, but she did recommend drying your bits with a hairdryer.

My OH does this everytime he has a shower :rotfl:

Well, only one MEGA box left - some bloke in front of me took 2 boxes, mega annoyed as had to get a Jumbo box which only had 96 instead of 144. They aren't getting anymore but OH said he will take them to other ASDA in town and see if they will swap!

jack is flat out again today!

Got him the Aptamil Easy Digest as he is really struggling for a good hour or two after a feed so I'm hoping this is better for him. Typical that when I popped out OH fed him 120mls with no problems! I just get 5 feeds of crying and bawling!

MFD - YAY for Benjamin (I think!!!)
BTW, I have decided if we have another boy I like the name Benjamin!

Progress slowing somewhat.. I've blitzed the kitchen apart from one box left to unpack (it's been packed so long I haven't got a clue what's in it!), and have made the bookcase all on my own :) OH has been putting the doors and drawers on the first unit with the second one still to build..

SM, sorry hun, meant to say yesterday, no answer at parts place yesterday. Will try first thing tomorrow for you :)

Rhys has projectile vomited all over both Mum and Dad - strange, cos he doesn't do it here! Good job they're at their house with plenty of clean clothes! ;)
