I've just been reading the 'what to do/arguements at christmas' thread. I posted on it earlier. But reading everyone elses experiences, i've come to the conclusion that families are a PITA! :rolleyes:

Ohs parents are seperated, originally due to his dad having an affair. he is still seeing the woman, but she lives at least 2 hours away, so its not a serious relationship they have, but you could say they use each other for sex.
his mum took this very hard, it happened about 3 1/2 years ago (about 6 months of us starting to go out!) and has jst recently started getting over it, and now got herself a fella.
his mum wants us, as in OH, me, Christopher and Katie, to go to hers for crimbo dinner. but that leaves his dad on his own, cos he wont be with his fancy woman. and my mum and dad also want us there as mum is having my sisters, and nephew and granny for crimbo dinner.

i think we will sort it out by just having our own family christmas dinner. visit everyone in the morning. also means that Katie can play with the toys that Santa has left her!!

3 i sod off everyone at xmas and its just me philip and the kids ......... i dont talk to most my family and philips family dont make that much of a fuss so its great just us x
