Just sitting down for a cuppa and Wispa Gold

Sad news at work - one of our engineers passed away yesterday (had cancer for a long time) and two other long-term absentees have finished too

Where is the time going?! Feels like it's almost time to get Rhys already but I've probably got another five hours really.

Had to go round to neighbours' anyway cos they took in my four(:o) eBay parcels while I was out. Police have already been round :rolleyes: Sounds like the neighbours are redecorating and then intending to sell up if the old bat carries on..

Wonder how MM is gettin on I think her OH should hae her on reins to keep her under control lol

It was vac bags, cream snowsuit, highchair toy (for the Bumbo tray) and... the leopard print snowsuit!

Oh, made more plans to see a colleague next week. We were going to go out for tea but her hubby is away with work, so I'm going to hers and she'd cooking me tea!

Have you been to the library today? Weather good enough for the park?

The kid refuses to sleep. She now has hiccups too. I've just smothered her in kisses so she's looking a bit bewildered.

A little old lady accosted me in Asda today and was pawing Leila and saying how gorgeous she was. She then proceeded to tell me 'What about those 2 women, isnt it terrible, they should bring back the death penalty for them' and on and on she ranted whilst I just nodded. I think at one point she even mentioned hanging. She only let me go when Leila started trumping!!! Hurrah for baby farts!

Elle, I think you said you were going to take Rhys swimming. I have one of those huggie swimmer nappies here for size 7-13lb if its any good to you. Would be too small for little madam now (bad mummy not taking her swimming like I meant to) xx

Ooo you have just reminded me that I have an opened packet of swim nappies at home, will check what size they are and then fairies can send them out to a new home

When I was out walkin the dog El got jumped on by a staffie, it caught her face, luckily for a change she was in her buggy coz it was raining so wanted a quick walk. I floored the staffie coz I wasn't worried if it bit me but didn't want it hurtin babe!!!

OMG Scruffy! Poor El (and poor dog once you got your hands on it!)

Not done much at all today. Since Holly slept through the night, she has decided she doesn't need a sleep today clearly and would not settle at all. She has been a bit distressed recently and HV thinks it is probably trapped wind (of the bottom variety!) so going to try some colic rememdy to see if that helps. She has been quite bad today with it, but after 2 big poos which she must have been storing up, she is now finally relaxed and sleeping so I can get on with making the dinner!

Jillie - I am not counting on 11-7 being a routine, but since she has been awake most of the day, fingers crossed - that would be great!!!
She got weighed again today and is 10lb 2oz!!! What a porker I have! :eek:
