I wouldn't take it until you're nearly ready to book your practical. They only last two years from passing and if something happens and you don't pass your practical in those two years it's wasted money

not allowed to take lesson round here untl you've past your theory ... it last for 2 years but im taking lessons after xmas (if pass my theory of course) x

MM What bout checkin out freecycle for bits and pieces and the theory is harder now there is 2 parts to it now.

You sure? You're not allowed to BOOK your practical cos you need the theory pass certificate number, but you can take the lessons first.

I thought all instructors coached pupils on the theory. Mine gave me books and everything and I drove to the test station with her, we ended a lesson there and my mum picked me up.

You sure SM, both DD's have had lessons before their theory, DD2 only passed hers recently!
