Amber was staring at my mashed tatties earlier, she was not amused when I told her she was far too young. Speaking of Amber, the combination feeding is working well. I've realised that she really wasn't getting enough when just BF (she was always limited on when she could feed because of school runs etc) but is now thriving. Alert and awake and peeing

hello all,

i'm watching x factor too but was in the bath with baby girl when it started so i am hoping i haven't missed olly.

we had a great night last night. baby girl went down before 8.30pm, stirred around 10.30pm when i gave her a dream feed of about 2oz. she then stayed down until 3.15am!!!!!!!!!!! she might have even stayed asleep then but i got up to go to the loo and hubby came in from work. she then had a feed (not eating a lot of solids at the minute) and went down again until about 6.30am. i put her in with us then and she woke gone 9am.

but guess what ....

we have a tooth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

one of her bottom ones has come through. i thought i felt something scratchy this morning but she wouldn't open her mouth for anything. wasn't until about 1pm when i finally got a look at it.

my little girl is growing up :-(
