Yup, any kind of mei tai can, wraps can too, but not stretchy wraps really as by the time they're big enough for your back they're too big for the stretchy! Kozys are very similar to Joeys but with a shorter body, you didn't ask but I thought I tell you anyway!

boo for non sling meet attendance btw :-(

    i know i know :o

what is the benefit, if any, of a shorter body?

We're off to see the fantastically funny Michael McIntyre at the NIA... :D

Tia, the fairy post came today... The coat is goooooooooooooooooooorgeous!!! The colour suits Caitlyn just perfectly! If there is anything my fairies could send to Amber, just let me know :)

We will be needing a picture of her in her coat ;)

My printer is broken and I need to print a letter to appeal a parking ticket (LA car park, machine was being worked on so we were told to just park, came back got a ticket so we have to put it in writing to get it sorted out, the car park attendant is a cow, long story). Anyway, it's just not going to get fixed so I need to look for a new one, but I want a scanner too and as I'm tight....

Don't have time to read back, have I missed anything important?

i think i might go insane. i've not left the house in 2 days cos of the rain, cos my car is parked miles away from the house, well a 5 min walk away which is miles when its raining, and both me and seth will end up soaked before we get to it. if i put him in the car seat on the buggy then the car seat and buggy will get drenched, if i put him in the buggy and put the raincover on the buggy and carry the car seat then the car seat will get drenched where he will sit and i will get drenched trying to take off the raincover, strap him into the wet car seat. lose lose. and he keeps making silly high pitched panicky noises for reasons i cant fathom, which normally wouldnt annoy me but i am so sick of sitting in this stupid bl00dy house everything is :o

i could strap him in the car seat ready, leave him in the house, get the car and pull up outside the house i suppose :undecided would it technically be any worse than paying for petrol and leaving him in a locked car?

    :)Still searching .....:)
  • Emlou, if your that desperate to get out, could you leave him strapped in the car seat as suggested, with telly on, dummy, blankie, fave toy whatever and run like the wind. You'd be less than 3 mins if its a 5 min walk. Would be no worse than leaving them to cry at night. Then leave car seat in the car, so next time you can use just the buggy.

I'd go for it personally, can't see diff to petrol station and a long Q

em - do what bailey said. we have a really narrow drive so I have to put Jack in seat, leave him in house, go outside, open gates, pull car out onto road so that I can get him in, close gates again - probably takes at least 3 minutes.

  • My daughter has been trying my patience. Put her down for her nap about 12.30pm, she wouldn't go to sleep, just kept getting up and pulling things out of wardrobe etc, first time she's ever done that since being in her bed. Normally she just lies there and goes straight off, but she's been in a funny mood all morning.

Anyway after about my 5th trip upstairs, I knelt down, looked her in the eye and said to her, "if I come up again, you'll be downstairs sleeping in your buggy" - (in the utility where she used to have her day naps, not as nice as a warm bed). Hmmm she said through her dummy.

I haven't heard from her since, but prepared the buggy for her arrival in case. She's 19m so clearly understood that concept!!

It was going so well, still hoping not to do the stairgate.
