  • MFD still on the Stokke, does it really go up stairs like its supposed to?

Yup! The hardest thing is telling people not to help you! It really is much easier on your own once you get used to it.

ETA I look away when I see bugaboos (Really don't like them) and I've got a quinny so I always notice them! I won't tell you it was OH who counted the stokkes cos he thinks they are only bought by people with more money than sense.

I love seeing people with Bugaboos! They are at least as expensive as the Stokke but they are ugly and so normal :rotfl:I walk past giggling with my baby at eye-level thinking 'you shouldda bought a stokke' :o

When you have all had 2 or 3 buggies by the time your babies are 2 and I have just had my stokke I will be laughing. And I can ebay it for 3/4 of what I bought it for :T

ETA i always use a bike lock on my pram when I have to leave it outside the doctors.

Note to self - buy a bike lock! I never leave my stokke anywhere, I would rather not go in!!

    You have PR automatically if...
    You're the mother
    You have adopted the child
You're the dad and you are married to the child’s mother
If, since 1 December 2003, you have been registered on the birth certificate as the father
    You don't have it if...
You're not married to the child's mother and haven't been registered on the birth certificate since 1 December 2003
You're not the natural or adoptive parent, but your partner is

Not really awesome!! The front wheels fold under so it goes up on it's back wheels, keeping baby at the right angle with no need to bend over and do you back in.

You do still need to lug the buggy up the stairs though!! It works great for escalators :)

Just in case anyone is interested, you pronounce it Stock-ee, I was saying it wrong for ages!!!

has anyone got any experience of the baby bright dvds/videos? my auntie was telling me the other day that she got it for my cousin to watch and he absolutely loved it, she said it was just gobbledegook and shapes and colours but he used to be glued to it and chat away back at the tv to it!

If one is a Quinny then you have probably spent as much as I have already :rotfl:

I wouldn't tell your hubby that though
