Feely, maybe Toby is fussy because he can tell you're upset? Is your Hubby around? Could he not hold him a while? Or maybe see if you can get him settled to bed and have a bit of time to yourself?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

OMG I'm crying with laughter- No! I wish, they are in fact the priceyest thing he owns, a lovely gift from our relatives, they are Padraig slippers and I think they are £37 :eek::eek:
Oooooh! I have a friend who makes ones like that, she's very lovely, she's one of my sling meeters! And they're much cheaper! :money:Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -
my sister asked me if i would take my nephew if anything happend to her, she has been having problems with her ex and he has agreed that if anything were to happen then the monster would come to me!
I've always wondered what happend when you (the mum) know who the father is but don't want them to have parental wotsit or they don't turn up to the registering app0 -
which is why you should get it in proper legal writing missy (she says having not done it herself!):p
The only downside of my sister having the boys (currently) is that she lives on the other side of the country, but it is a very nice place and she may well move closer to home at some point, she gets on well with MIL so I have no doubt that she would make sure the boys would still see both sides of the family plenty.
I need to get something written up anyway, if anything happened to me then hubby wouldn't automatically get Aimee... We have been meaning to do parental responsibility since the weddingWe might just skip it and start adoption next year though... Just don't want those proceedings to cause anyone to crawl out of the woodwork though...

Caz - does that mean your Sis will have your brood?
I am honestly not sure. My brother has young kids (6 and 3)...but hubby doesn't really approve of their parenting style. BIL has a 11 and 7yo but I certainly don't approve of his parenting style...
I need to think about this...

yes he is sami but he hs just lost all rights to the LO. my sis went to a lawyer and had everything stopped, he has made it clear he is not willing to fight etc and said he would rather i had him if anything were to happen.
the access was stopped due to him telling my sister that there was nothing wrong with LO, not feeding him(he has to be fed every 2 hours plus solids) and not giving him his medication. What's for you won't go past you0 -
on the subject of parental responsibilities, if the parent with care doesnt want the father to have custody of the child if something happened to her and signs the child over to her mum, what would happen if the father wanted to look after the child? it seems very unfair to me that in the event of something happening to the mother that the father should be completely bypassed against their willMummy to
