    Right, so yesterday!

Got to Aston's Aunties, couldnt find the house so phoned his nan, only to hear his Dad in the background. (yeah thanks for telling me he was gonna be there!)
It turns out that he's staying at his sisters at the moment, didnt know that either.

Anyway, to my complete and utter amazement, as soon as Aston saw him he went running up to him saying ''daddy''
I put it down to a pic he saw this time last year?

Anyway, we had a really good day, Aston met his sister, she's lovely, turns out that DS behaviour mirrors that of his Dad and his big sis, so it's his dads fault he's a hyper nutter :rotfl:

Aston got on great with everyone, his cousins and his sister especially, it was so nice seeing them all together.

  • Phew...just managed to get through my catch-up reading of this thread!

Well, I have my sleeping through the night baby back again...he had me up twice during Friday night, but did 7 hours again last night (very noisily!). We are wondering if he is having a bit of a growth spurt as I seem to be permanently hungry at the moment...to the point that I didn't manage to get to church this morning as I was still feeling too hungry-sick.

Hugh seems to have started to hold things and try and put them in his mouth now...so we have a very soggy monkey and and a slightly moist rabbit rattle!

I often feel that I get nothing done during the day, especially as Hugh feeds frequently and only does very brief daytime naps (can't have it both ways, I know!)..but at least we've managed to finish our tax returns now.....as we are non-resident we have to do paper ones, we can't file online, which is a bit annoying! I am so glad that I have discovered that you can post things from the larger supermarkets in Belgium...because going to the post office here to do it is two hours of my life that I would never get back...

Fine actually, it's weird cos i got myself into such a state over it all and nearly didnt go, but it was ok.
It's weird too cos I see his Dad and felt absolutely nothing, in a way I think I was scared that I might still have feelings for him, but I soooo dont.
I think the other mum does though, it was just the way she was around him, but anyway thats their lookout.
Aston stayed at his nanny's (my mums) last night so havent had a chance to chat to him about it all except in the car on the way home, he said he is going to miss his Nanny, and his cousin (no mention of Dad though)
