Have you got one of those fancy pod highchairs?????
MFD, this is the high chair we have,
http://www.bloombaby.com/collection/main.php?sID=19Angela. can I ask, why did your HV suggest you wean Rose before 6mths? Was it to do with being prem, or just cos she seemed to need it?[/QUOTE
It semed to be a cross between the two. Said prem babies needed weaned early as needed more vits etc but Rose is so big. She was 14lb 9oz last week. She is on the 91st centile tho she is still being charted 9 weeks earlier than she is. She would be on about the 50th if she was charted for her birth date. I'm taking it slowly tho with her but she is having no bother with anything i've gave her and she seems to love it so far. Even opens her mouth now as soon as she sees the spoon.SeptemberBaby wrote: »Nite nite ladies.

DH has gone to McD's for brekkie, LO has gone to IL's and we are off to see UP at 10am. Although ask me later and I may not be as happy, hoping to get some shut eye once we come back from the piccies.Mummy to D born 21/04/09 and S born 09/05/120 -
Morning all,
MM hope your feeling better today hun, not nice when that happens.
Wow Glam I wish I could shop like that, Im not organised enough for it though.
MFD Lexi has those gorgeous just sheepskin booties! OH thinks im mental as Lexis shoe collection is impressive and expensive LoL. Takes after her mother apparently
Happy Birthday Poppy and SB, Hope your little darling has a lovely birthday party.
 Bruno and MOTM I was wondering where you had been hiding!
Sorry Carla, I must have sounded like a right spoilt moo. OH also wants a corner sofa but we have barely had this one two years and its just what I wanted Black leather recliners 2 x 2 seaters - perfect. I would also like a corner sofa but we dont have the room so I dont see the point as I would love it in the shop, hate it when it arrived.
Sorry not trying to ignore anyone just cant remember much else.
Mad at OH though, I get up every night in the week with Lexi and also mornings and a Saturday morning too. He is supposed to get up with her Saturday nights and Sunday mornings. The past three weekends Moi has been down here at stupid o clock Sunday mornings with madam as he [STRIKE]couldnt be ar$$ed[/STRIKE] hasnt heard her . Seriously I ask him for one thing and he cant even be bothered with that, well he can go on whistling over to Mcdonalds if he wants bacon for breakfast this morning because Ill be bu$$ered if Im doing it for him! Hmmm might go on an official strike.
Anyway enough ranting from me....

Right heres my MSE dilemma for the day. I broke the pot of our slow cooker last night . Theres nothing wrong with it and so would really like to get a new pot but some of you are saying about the £7 one in Asda ( cant see it online by the way)
Should I try and get new pot or buy the £7 Asda one. Ours was a Breville Anthony Worrall Thompson one....
PS went to quiz that my parents were doing last night and didnt get in till 11 so not long got up - oh no the daily routine is b*****ed already!!!Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
How much would a new pot be? Can you use the pot for anything else? Do you use it often?
I would probably get a new pot for mine but its this one http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-6223.aspx and I use the pot for other cooking and it looks nice on the table.

Morning all..
So much to do today but I just want to curl up on the sofa with RhysMy dad's coming over soon to finish the cupboard, OH is at work and I'm supposed to be ready to go out when he gets home. In the meantime, I've got Rhys' clothes mountain to sort out - need to get all the clothes from my mum's too, seem to have them stashed all over the house.
Then got to pack everything for tomorrow. I'm assuming I need to take all of Rhys' meds, bottles and EBM but I'm not sure about how it all works with what we do and what the nurses do (who gives the meds, for example). If he has to stay in, I want to stay too - it'd be different if he was back on the neonatal unit cos we know and trust those nurses, but we don't know the children's nurses and I'm worried what'd happen if he woke up crying in the middle of the nightDon't know if they'd cater for feeding on demand, depends how much time they have to spare. If I was BF'ing and couldn't express, I'd have to stay, wouldn't I, so I'm hoping I can stay on the strength of that
Obviously must go to bed early tonight - got to be up to feed Rhys at half four on the dot! :rolleyes:0 -
Fingers crossed you get to stay if thats the case Elle

I just took a drink of tea and it 'went down the wrong way' Here I am coughing and spluttering all over the place and madam thinks its hilarious, giggling her head off. Thanks for that Lexi  She also loves my black and white zebra print mugs so I guess maybe she was laughing at those a little bit!

Elle, I'm sure you'll be able to stay. My friends daughter is 3 and my friend stayed with her over night... And I supported a woman on the childrens ward who was exclusively expressing last year... Hope all goes well and there's no need for the GA in the end
Happy birthday SB and Poppy
I'm off to get ready for church... Far to tired this morning, Caitlyn decided 2hourly feeds were the order of business last night...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Sorry Im just taking up loads of space arent I? LoL! I dont know what to do with myself my little man never usually stays in bed past 7am but he isnt down here yet. I know I could be doing dishes or cleaning but somebody told me that Sunday is a day of rest
besides I have Lexi to entertain (even though she is quite happy at the minute munching on toast soldiers)
Trying to decide what to do with the day but so far have come up with nothing! Plenty to do round the house just no motivation to do it! Feel like going and doing 'something'
